GRANT OF CASH AWARDS AND CASH IN LIEU OF LAND TO THE GALLANTRY AWARDS WINNERS OF THE DEFENCE PERSONNEL UNDER MAHARASHTRA "GAURAV PURASKAR "SCHEME

 

1.   In accordance with Government Resolution No. Shau.Pa.Pu. 2000/ 303/ Pra.Kra.31(2000)/28 Mantralaya, Mumbai, dated 03 July 2000 Government has sanctioned Cash Awards as well as cash in lieu of land as mentioned below for the following 14 Gallantry/Non-gallantry Award winners of the Defence Services who are domicile of Maharashtra :-

2.       All awardees in gallantry/non-gallantry awards series who are domicile of Maharashtra have been granted cash awards as well as cash in lieu of land as per the Govt. resolution.

3.         In future also, the soldiers who would be bestowed with gallantry/non gallantry awards will be given cash awards as well as cash in lieu of land as shown above.

 

POSTHUMOUS GALLANTRY AWARD WINNERS

4.         A pension of Rs. 1000/- per month is being given to the next of kin of the posthumous gallantry award winners in place of cash awards.

Note :- The process of disbursement of cash awards to the respective gallantry award winners and pension to the next of kin is being done through the Director, Department of Sainik Welfare, Maharashtra State, Pune.
